Today I had my first go at NCS Expert/Dummy. Had some succes and some not. I don't know really. With the manual in my hand I followed everything step by step. The first thing I noticed when I did one of the first steps, where you read the VIN/ZCS from the car, I get 3 ECU options: CKMB EWS KMB No idea what the CKMB is.
The default profile that comes with NCS Expert, 'Expertenmodus' (FZG2.PFL), does not support trace manipulation. If you do not already have a working profile, download NCS Dummy profile for NCS Expert 4 and extract NCSDUMMY4.PFL from the zip archive to the NCS Expert profiles folder C: NCSEXPER PFL.
Enable ansys hpc. ANSYS is used in a wide range of disciplines for solutions to mechanical, thermal, and electronic problems. Auburn Engineering maintains a campus license for the mechanical, CFD (Fluent) and cluster capabilities of Ansys.
The EWS and other is Kombi. I know these hold the ZCS in them. Not sure about the first. But what I noticed, is that only the EWS showed the correct VIN in NCS Expert. When trying the other two, the last 7 characters are all correct, but the WBABK71.
Part was just WBA00000. Not sure what this means or if this is a possible problem. So I continued with the EWS.
Got the list of modules and went on to read the GM4 module. It came back fine and I saw it came back with GM4.C03. So now I also understand that part where it shows what C* file you have to pick in NCS Dummy.
Materinskaya plata msi n1996 manual. I tested only with one module, so not to confuse different modules with wrong FSW_PSW.MAN files. So I didn't rename anything (I did do a backup). Then I went into NCS Dummy and loaded E36 and the GM4.C03 file and then my tracefile from NCS Expert.
To not try to much at once, I only changed the 'alarm beep when locking/unlocking' that is locked in EU modules normally. I eported the files (at first I was in doubt which of the 2 exports to choose. Even with the manual in hand it was a bit confusing which one to pick). So I did just both. Then it's still unclear to me if I have to close NCS DUmmy before going back to NCS Expert, but since NCS Dummy empties the FSW_PSW.MAN file, it would only make sense to keep it running. Also not sure if you close NCS Expert before starting NCS DUmmy or that it doesn't matter.
Ok so I went back to NCS Expert and followed everything step by step. Once I got to the 'execute job' step, I clicked and of course I got an error. And this one is not listed in the couple of common errors that is in the manual. Error in CABD! Look at CABI.ERR and ERROR.LOG!
COAPI-2060: coding faulty (general) C_GM4, C_C_AUFTRAG: BUSY Tried it once more and same error again. So I was like okay well lets just stop for now and ask here first. So I disconnected everything, locked the car and.*BEEP*. So I unlocked and got the *BEEP BEEP*. Ok so it looks like the coding was succesfull after all, but on the other hand this is even more confusing. So I looked again and now it looks like the coding was succesfull, but when I now read the module again and load in in NCS Dummy, these changes that are made, do not show up. As if there are still NOT_ACTIVE, while they actually are.
